Danny Hughes Appointed as President of Sandals Resorts
Sandals Resorts promises a bright future ahead with the appointment of their new President

Nassau, Bahamas - Sandals Resorts announced today a new appointment to their senior executive leadership team. Effective immediately, Danny Hughes has taken over as President of Sandals Resort, a decision Sandals is confident will bring new insight and sustained excellence to their brand. 

Danny Hughes brings to Sandals Resorts his years of experience in the hospitality industry.  

For the past ten years Danny has held a variety of positions within Hilton WorldWide Holdings Inc.  He was previously Executive Vice President of the Americas, giving him oversight of all of the Hilton brand interests across North, Central, and South America. Prior to that he was Senior Vice President and Commercial Director for the Americas, and Senior Vice President for Latin America and the Caribbean. In his over 30 years in the hospitality industry, Danny has served the Hilton brand as an Area Vice President, President of Sales, General Manager, and Director of Food and Beverage. Hughes has a degree in Hotel and Food Services Management from Bournemouth University in the UK.

Danny Hughes is grateful for the opportunity to bring his knowledge as a veteran of the industry to Sandals Resorts. His primary focus is on the further encouragement of the unmatched dedication and talent of Sandals employees, something he believes is crucial to any company in the hospitality industry. He has doubled down on previous statements he’s made about the importance of customer service and having “the best people in the industry.” About his appointment Danny says, “I am beyond thrilled to join the executive team at Sandals.
